Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) at McVeigh Insulations

At McVeigh Insulations we can supply only or supply and fix SIPs depending on your project requirements. Whichever you choose, all SIPs are fabricated in our dedicated workshop and sent to site in a kit form ready for a rapid installation.

Design

Project drawings are used to calculate the 'best fit' solution for a SIPs layout. Structural calculations can be provided to satisfy the Building Control requirements. See the movie for a visual demonstration (Windows Media Player required).

Supply

At McVeigh Insulations each contract is booked into a works schedule. Once cutting sheets have been 'taken off' project drawings they are approved by the client. Blank SIPs are cut to size and shape complete with perimeter rebates and apertures formed as necessary. Once engineered each panel is packed in a sequential manner and transported to site.

Fix

We have directly-employed installation teams and contracting staff who provide a comprehensive installation service. Project specific Heath and Safety documentation is all prepared in accordance with the latest requirements of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Major Contractors Group (MCG ).
