Fire Walls / Fire Wall Installation

McVeigh Insulations use the latest sandwich panel technology to create passive fire protection solutions. Steel faced panels with a mineral fibre core are used to provide fire ratings upto 4 hours. All the products we use have LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) and FM (Factory Mutual) approvals ensuring acceptability from insurance companies.

Compartment walls will only perform to the ability of the weakest point. At McVeigh Insulations ‘in house’ designers will provide the full solution. All fire stopping to the perimeter interface details and penetrating services is carried out by FIRAS (Fire Accreditation Scheme) approved contractors.

In addition to the compartment wall we are able to provide doors, windows and conveyor hatches, all with the appropriate fire ratings as not to lesson the over fire integrity of the installation.

Installation is quick and clean using long span sandwich panels. Panels arrive to site with preformed edges ensuring that all the joints between panels are quickly and securely formed. There is no need for additional decoration as the face of the panels have a factory-applied paint finish.
