At McVeigh Insulations we recognise that achieving industry standard accreditations helps demonstrate credibility and promotes good working practice.
As well as completing Pre-qualification’s and gaining approved supplier status from many of the UK Contractors Group companies, we have also completed or in the process of completing the following third party assessments.
The Safe Contractor is a Pre qualification recognised and used by many leading brand companies such as Nestle, Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Subsequently due to our involvement with works in these sectors we have full approved status on the Safe Contractor scheme.
The Building Confidence pre qualification scheme is a robust written application like many of the other schemes but with a difference. The application is followed up with a 2 day audit where an assessor visits your premises and seeks proof and examples of compliance. We applied for the Building Confidence accreditation to help lift our profile and gain visibility to the some of the UKCG companies.

CSCS Certificates of Commitment are awarded to companies that have shown a level of commitment to CSCS and/or its affiliated Schemes. This commitment is determined by the proportion of the company’s onsite workers who hold full CSCS or affiliated cards that are valid and current. At McVeigh Insulations we applied for the gold Certificate to help demonstrate our commitment to on-going training and development.
Environmental matters have become a big concern for us at McVeigh Insulations. Our clients are becoming increasing rigours when it comes to supply chain environmental performance so in response we have written and implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS) To help provide further credibility we are now working towards the Acorn BS8555 accreditation.
